God is but Love, and therefore so am I.
I can treat grace as though it belongs mainly to the most difficult parts of life.
I reach for it after failure, loss, or exhaustion. On an ordinary day, I return to measuring life by what I accomplished and how well I managed myself.
These review ideas show me that grace is not emergency assistance.
It is the condition of the one Life I share with God.
I remember reaching the end of a day and feeling dissatisfied because several things remained unfinished. Nothing serious had gone wrong. I had simply made productivity the measure of whether the day had been well lived.
Then I remembered the conversation I had not rushed, the few minutes outside, and the meal shared without looking at my phone.
Life had been present in places my list did not know how to count.
Grace allowed the day to be complete without requiring every task to be completed.
God is but Love, and therefore so am I.
If there is one Life, no quiet hour is spiritually empty and no changing role makes me less alive. Grace is given before I produce the evidence that I used the day correctly.
Today I want to receive this life without turning it into another performance.
There may still be work to do and promises to keep.
I can meet them without asking achievement to create the life God already shares with me.
Grace is not waiting at the end of the list.
I claim it now.
