I place the future in the Hands of God

My mind treats the future as a project that becomes safer through enough attention.

I review possibilities, prepare responses, and try to solve decisions before the information needed to make them has arrived.

Planning can be wise. Living mentally inside every possible outcome is not planning. It is an attempt to occupy a time that does not exist yet.

This lesson returns the future to God.

I once had a follow-up appointment whose date seemed to glow more brightly on the calendar than everything surrounding it. I watched for portal notifications, kept a folder of questions nearby, and hesitated to make plans beyond that week.

The future seemed to be waiting inside one result.

Placing it in God’s Hands did not guarantee the result I wanted. It meant refusing to make every dinner, dog walk, and conversation before the appointment feel like a waiting room.

I could prepare the questions I needed to ask, bring the information required, and then return to the day actually given.

God’s Hands are not a promise that every form will remain unchanged. They are the assurance that no form can carry me outside Love.

Today I want to notice the future problem I have been trying to live in advance.

There may be a call to make, money to save, or a practical step that reduces avoidable difficulty.

I can take that step without asking it to control what comes next.

The future does not become safe because I worried through it first.

It is safe in the only way that lasts: wherever it leads, God will already be there.
