God is the Love in which I forgive. God is the strength in which I trust. There is nothing to fear. God’s Voice speaks to me all through the day. I am sustained by the Love of God.

I have tried to create safety in ways that never quite deliver it.

I remember waiting for an important medical result and checking the patient portal far more often than any new information could reasonably appear. Each time I refreshed the page, I told myself I was staying informed. Really, I was trying to use vigilance to get ahead of an answer I could not control.

The checking did not make me safer. It made the feared possibility present every few minutes.

These final review ideas offer a different foundation. Forgiveness, trust, fearlessness, guidance, and sustenance are not separate spiritual accomplishments. They become possible when I remember that I am held in God’s Love.

Forgiveness is difficult when I believe the injury changed something essential about me. I keep returning to what happened because part of me is still trying to recover the safety, dignity, or worth I think another person took. If God’s Love remains intact, forgiveness does not have to deny the wound. It releases the belief that the wound now defines me.

Trust grows from the same recognition. I do not trust that every circumstance will follow my plan. I trust that whatever happens cannot separate me from the source of my strength.

This is why there is nothing to fear. There may be difficult conversations, losses, diagnoses, and changes I would never choose. The lesson does not pretend otherwise. It tells me that none of them can make me abandoned by God or emptied of what He created.

God’s Voice continues speaking inside every circumstance, though fear is often louder. I recognize His Voice by the direction it takes me. It may ask for courage, patience, honesty, or a boundary, but it does not require me to condemn myself or anyone else.

And beneath it all, I am sustained by the Love of God. I do not have to manufacture enough strength today to carry every future possibility. What I need may arrive through another person, a clear thought, practical help, or an endurance I could not access in advance.

Looking at these ideas together, I can see how much exhaustion comes from trying to provide for myself what only God can provide permanently. I may still need to take action. I just do not have to act as though everything depends on fear keeping watch.
