I am entitled to miracles.

The word entitled can make me uncomfortable.

It brings to mind demanding special treatment or believing I deserve something other people do not. That cannot be what this lesson means.

A miracle is not a prize or favorable outcome. It is a shift from fear to love, and everyone is entitled to that because love is what God created us to know.

I do not have to earn a miracle by behaving spiritually well.

That matters because I often believe peace should come after I have handled something correctly. If I overreacted, held the grievance, or ignored guidance I recognized at the time, I assume I have disqualified myself. Then shame becomes another delay.

This lesson says the shift remains available even now.

I am entitled to see the person differently after spending three days making them wrong. I am entitled to release self-condemnation after a mistake, not because the mistake was harmless, but because guilt will not correct it more effectively than love.

A miracle may not change the form I am facing. The relationship may still be over. The test result may remain the same. The practical consequences of a choice may still need to be addressed.

The miracle is that the situation no longer tells me I am separated from God.

I can see a loss without seeing myself as emptied. I can acknowledge harm without assigning permanent guilt. I can become willing to believe that love remains present before I know how the story ends.

No one else’s miracle takes one away from me. This is not a scarce resource reserved for the especially faithful or emotionally evolved.

I am entitled to miracles because I am entitled to remember what is true. I may still need to apologize, repair, grieve, or change my behavior. None of that requires me to remain in darkness while I do.
