139. I will accept Atonement for myself. 140. Only salvation can be said to cure.

I can accept good news and still remain unconvinced that I am safe.

The problem resolves. The test is clear. The person forgives me. Relief arrives, but part of my mind continues checking whether the danger might return in another form.

These review ideas address something the outer resolution cannot.

I will accept Atonement for myself. Only salvation can be said to cure.

Atonement corrects the belief that I separated myself from God through fear, error, or anything that happened to the body. Salvation cures the mind’s conviction that wholeness depends on keeping every form intact.

I have experienced the difference between receiving reassuring medical news and allowing myself to be reassured.

The result mattered enormously. It changed what needed to happen next. Yet fear quickly began negotiating with it: this scan is clear, but what about the next one?

Medicine had answered the question it was qualified to answer.

It could not answer whether I was eternally safe in God.

Accepting Atonement means I stop requiring another result before I allow that deeper answer to include me. I can follow medical guidance and care for the body without asking the body to establish my spiritual innocence or worth.

The same applies to mistakes. An apology and repair may address what happened between people. Salvation addresses the belief that the error permanently changed what God created.

Today I want to notice where I received an answer but continued withholding peace.

The form may deserve attention again later.

For this moment, I can let salvation answer the question beneath it: I have not separated myself from Love, and nothing in the world can complete or reverse that truth.
