137. When I am healed I am not healed alone. 138. Heaven is the decision I must make.

I used to imagine that choosing peace was primarily a private achievement.

I would become calmer, less afraid, and more spiritually mature. Other people might appreciate the improvement, but the healing belonged to me.

These review ideas show a wider effect.

When I am healed, I am not healed alone. Heaven is the decision I must make.

Every decision about where I will live inwardly changes what I bring into relationship.

If I choose fear, people may meet my suspicion, urgency, or need for reassurance. If I choose Heaven, they meet more room to speak, make mistakes, or have feelings I do not need to manage.

I noticed this when someone made a mistake that created extra work for me. My first response was familiar: I wanted them to understand the inconvenience fully enough that it would never happen again.

I could feel correction turning toward punishment.

Then I remembered how much safer honesty had become for me when I stopped believing every mistake changed my worth. If that healing was real, I could extend the same room to someone else.

I explained what needed to be corrected and why it mattered, but left humiliation out of it. They were able to listen without spending the conversation defending their entire character.

That small healing did not remain mine.

What I had learned about mercy changed the kind of correction another person received.

Today I want to notice the world I am extending through my presence.

I am not responsible for creating Heaven in another person’s mind.

I am responsible for deciding whether my words and actions invite them further into defense or make another possibility easier to recognize.

Healing extends because peace is never experienced in isolation.

The Heaven I choose becomes part of the world we share.
