I often imagine God as someone I need to remember to bring with me.

I begin the day with a few quiet minutes, then enter work, errands, traffic, and conversation as though I have left the sacred place behind.

This lesson reverses the arrangement.

I do not carry God into the day. The day unfolds within Him.

That means there is no spiritually empty room: not the grocery aisle where I become impatient, not the meeting where I feel overlooked, and not the kitchen at the end of an exhausting afternoon.

I remember walking through a hospital corridor focused on finding the correct room. Fluorescent lights, rolling carts, and directional signs filled my attention. Nothing looked sacred.

Yet God was not waiting somewhere quieter.

I lived and moved in Him there too—worried, distracted, and still entirely accompanied.

Presence does not depend on my ability to feel it. A clouded sky does not mean the sun has been removed.

Today I want to stop dividing life into places where God is easy to remember and places where He seems absent.

I can wash a cup, cross a parking lot, or sit beside someone without manufacturing a spiritual feeling.

God is with me before I remember.

The practice is not to make Him present. It is to notice that I have never moved outside His Life.
