I will receive whatever I request

I make requests through the purpose I bring to seeing.

If I am determined to prove that someone does not care, I will notice every delayed response and overlook the quieter ways they have shown up.

The mind is remarkably faithful to the question it asks.

I remember attending an event where I already felt uncertain about belonging. I watched for signs that people were more interested in one another than in me.

Every conversation I was not part of became evidence.

Meanwhile, I barely registered the person who saved me a seat or the one who asked a thoughtful follow-up question.

I had requested proof of exclusion, and perception delivered it.

This lesson does not mean I control every event by wishing for it. It means the teacher and purpose I choose determine what I receive from what happens.

Today I want to notice the request hidden beneath my attention.

If I ask to see separation, the world will appear to confirm it.

If I ask for help recognizing love, I may notice connection that was present without being dramatic.

The form does not always change.

What I receive is the meaning my chosen purpose can recognize.

I want to become more careful about the request I make before the evidence begins arriving.
