There are calls to God that sound nothing like prayer.
They may sound like “I cannot keep doing this,” or appear as tears at three in the morning when no clear words remain. They may be the moment I admit that my own strategy has brought me to exhaustion.
I have mistaken silence for absence when an answer did not come quickly. Yet sometimes the delay I resented prevented me from choosing the first escape available. In the waiting, what I truly wanted became clearer.
God’s answer is the one I really want because beneath my requests for control is a deeper desire for peace. I may ask for a person to change, but what I want is to know that love is safe. I may ask for certainty, but what I want is to trust that I will not be abandoned in uncertainty.
This lesson does not promise that every preferred outcome will occur. It promises that the call beneath the preference is heard.
I can be honest about the form I want while leaving room for an answer that reaches further.
No sincere call disappears. Love hears even the prayer I do not yet know how to name.

Your words stay in this box until you choose “Reflect with me.” That sends them securely to OpenAI for this response. The Site does not save them. You can download the finished reflection if you want to keep it.
