Before a difficult conversation, I tend to prepare both sides.
I rehearse what I will say, predict the other person’s objections, and compose answers to questions they may never ask. By the time we meet, I have already been arguing with them for an hour.
To give the instant to God is to release the script without abandoning honesty.
Guidance may ask me to say the clear thing I wanted to avoid. It may ask me to listen after I have made my point, or to stop explaining once the truth is simple.
Peace does not come from controlling the conversation. It comes from allowing love to govern my participation in it.
I can prepare my heart as carefully as I prepared my argument.
The goal is not a flawless conversation. It is a holy instant in which fear is no longer directing me.

Share what you are feeling, noticing, or struggling with. The companion will respond through the lens of this lesson—not as the final truth, but as another way of seeing.
Your words stay in this box until you choose “Reflect with me.” That sends them securely to OpenAI for this response. The Site does not save them. You can download the finished reflection if you want to keep it.
