151. All things are echoes of the Voice for God. 152. The power of decision is my own.

God is but Love, and therefore so am I.

I can spend a great deal of energy trying to decide whether a circumstance is a sign.

Was the delay guidance or inconvenience? Did the unexpected conversation mean I should change direction, or am I assigning spiritual importance to an ordinary event?

These review ideas release me from needing to decode everything perfectly.

All things can echo God’s Voice because Love can give any circumstance a purpose beyond fear. The power of decision is mine because I choose which purpose I will accept.

I remember trying to decide whether to accept a new piece of work when my schedule was already full. One person reminded me that opportunities do not always return and encouraged me to make room. Another asked what I would have to take away from my health, family, or existing commitments in order to say yes.

Both people cared about me. Both made reasonable points. I kept comparing their words as though one of them must contain God’s official answer.

Eventually I noticed what each conversation revealed inside me.

The first opinion activated my fear of missing out. The second did not tell me what to do, but it made the actual cost easier to admit.

The echo was not a command hidden inside either person’s words. It was the quiet direction toward love rather than self-betrayal.

I still had to decide.

The refrain gives that decision a foundation: God is but Love, and therefore so am I.

If I am Love, my choices do not have to be organized around proving my worth, preventing all disappointment, or forcing certainty from circumstances.

Today I want to listen for the purpose beneath what is happening.

I may misunderstand a sign or revise a decision later.

Love is not so fragile that one imperfect choice can carry me beyond Its reach.
