Giving my life to God can sound larger than the decisions I actually face.

Most days are not shaped by one dramatic crossroads. They are shaped by small choices made while tired, distracted, or eager to avoid discomfort.

Guidance may meet me there.

I once agreed to help with something while resentment was already forming. The request was reasonable, but I was tired and afraid that saying no would make me look ungenerous.

Before confirming, I paused long enough to ask what I wanted the agreement to accomplish.

The honest answer was that I wanted to preserve someone’s opinion of me.

Giving the moment to God did not mean refusing automatically. It meant telling the truth about my capacity and offering only what I could give without hidden anger.

Guidance often changes the purpose before it changes the action.

I may still speak firmly, decline an invitation, revise a plan, or admit that I need help. God’s guidance does not always produce the most comfortable form. It produces the form least burdened by attack.

Today I want to offer the next decision rather than demanding a map for the entire future.

I do not have to hear a voice or feel absolute certainty.

Willingness creates enough space for a kinder motive, a clearer boundary, or a necessary pause to appear.

I give my life to God one unremarkable choice at a time.
