“Why not today?” reaches the part of me that keeps postponing peace.

I will trust when I have more evidence. I will rest when the uncertainty is resolved. I will forgive when the memory no longer hurts. The requirements sound reasonable, but they keep today organized around waiting.

While caring for a plant I thought I had ruined, I kept examining its damaged leaves and overlooking the new growth near the soil. My attention was loyal to the evidence of failure. Life was continuing just below it.

Accepting God’s Word means allowing love to be more authoritative than the conclusions I formed in fear. It does not require me to feel certain. It asks whether I am willing to stop treating my old evidence as final.

Peace and joy are endless because their Source is not the condition I am watching. Miracles continue whenever I let a new perception interrupt the old one.

Perhaps I cannot release every condition today. I can question one.

Why not let this moment contain a little of what I keep assigning to the future?

A PRIVATE REFLECTION

What is coming up for you?

Share what you are feeling, noticing, or struggling with. The companion will respond through the lens of this lesson—not as the final truth, but as another way of seeing.

Your words stay in this box until you choose “Reflect with me.” That sends them securely to OpenAI for this response. The Site does not save them. You can download the finished reflection if you want to keep it.
